ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Timely and accurate completion of visit/time record documentation and verification of service forms.

  • Adhere to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) privacy policies and

  • procedures. Maintain confidentiality of all information pertaining to clients, families, and employees.

  • Maintain positive working relationships with clients, client families, Seven Day Peaceful Personal

  • Care Services staff, community providers, and referral sources.

  • Always maintain a professional appearance.

  • Participate as appropriate in all in-service and education programs required by the agency.

SERVICES AND PRODUCES

  • Provide companionship for elderly and disabled clients served.

  • Promote a harmonious, pleasant, and engaging environment for elderly and disabled clients.

  • Prepare and serve meals and/or snacks.

  • Provide grooming and dressing guidance.

  • Light housekeeping to include, but not limited to, wiping surfaces, light dusting, vacuuming, sweeping,

  • mopping in areas utilized or frequented by the client.

  • Provide laundry and linen services to include washing, ironing, and folding clothes.

  • Provide shopping service to clients to include grocery and clothes shopping.

  • Provide incidental transportation for clients, which includes visits to doctor appointments, homes of

  • friends and family members, stores, and other locations essential for the client’s quality of living.

  • Provide assistance and planning of the client’s recreational activities and events.

  • May remind clients of medications.
